Knee arthroscopy
In the everyday life the knee joint is put to a lot of pressure, and more particularly in the regular practice of sport.

There are for sure many other cases of knee pain that your specialized surgeon will be able to diagnose. Traumas can happen in different circumstances :
- Sport accident : football, skiing, tennis, rugby...
- Road accident : car, motorbike, scooter...
- Falls
- At work : bent position for an extended period of time, hard labor...
- Simply by walking or running down the street
The aging of the joint causes osteoarthritis to appear, which is the abnormal wearing of the cartilage causing more or less acute pain.
Arthroscopy is for now the best surgery technic allowing the diagnosis and treatment of most of the knee pathologies causing knee pain.
Of course, the treament of your knee pathology or injury by arthroscopic surgery will be decided by your qualified surgeon after a consultation and a thorough clinic examination, supplemented if he deems necessary by other medical examinations such as (RMI, Scanner, X-Rays).
During the consultation do not hesitate to ask your Physician as many questions as you need regarding your pathology, about the surgery ( risks, post surgery conditions, anesthesia, re-education, sick leave)
